I got a room in the main hotel instead of the annexe, and it was nice. The room was very clean and had a view of the mill and river Avon. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was attentive.
The car park charged an additional fee, and the fee wasn't mentioned on arrival.

the location near the river was acceptable.
the lack of flexibility regarding check-in was annoying. i arrived before the official time, as did other members of my party, we were denied early access to our rooms even to freshen up. this rigidity was especially frustrating considering cleaners were already working on vacant rooms.

River Views and Excellent Service!

Ezra and Elle were especially helpful and kind! They provided useful information about the surrounding area. Our room, a basic double, was clean and quiet even though it was close to the toll bridge. The hotel's location allowed us to walk to the Roman Baths.
The soap dispenser in the shower never worked . I did report it to the staff.
